Bombay Monsoon Black & White Print Sale 2025

It’s been a long time since i wrote something. Life gets busy sometimes. This city does keep you busy. You hate it and You love it but can’t stay away from it. I have been photographing it from past 8 years to be precise. This is not a rant or a blog about this city. This blog is about the few beautiful prints of photographs i am selling which i made in this city.

Since in this digital age, Our photographs are stuck in the digital realm, It’s a very joyous feeling to have them in a physical realm too. There are 5 photos i am putting up for a sale. Only 10 copies of each photo is there for sale. They are all available in a print format only. The border would be provided for framing in the future.

The Rainy Season of Mumbai has been my favorite time of the year since my childhood. I eagerly wait for this rain socked days to begin every year. I am a color photographer since I began to practice photography. I have been documenting this city from last 6 years. After documenting for such a long time, I reached a point, where everything seemed Monotonous. I felt I needed to do the experimentation with my work. I am always open to new things and uncertainty they can offer.

This Monsoon season I decided to document the rain for the first time in Black and White. Since I was very new to this idea, my heart was thinking a lot about if I should approach it or not. But I did & enjoyed every bit of it.

I like how with Black and white, one can escape color distraction and portray soul of emotions. As I must continue to experiment with my approach, I shall continue to make more Black and White images.
